- Projects stay in that browser’s local storage. Most browsers allow about 5 MB for the site, shared by every project.
- A terrain-heavy project fills that quota sooner. When the quota is full, the write is dropped and the project is not stored.
- Storage belongs to one browser, one profile, and one computer. There is no sync and no backup.
- Clearing browsing data or site data erases it. A private window drops it when the window closes. Safari may purge it after about 7 days without a visit.

- Projects are stored on the server and open from any browser. A save from another tab is detected, and the older tab can reload the server copy or overwrite it.
- Find ASR searches FCC antenna structure registrations. The search stays empty until the weekly FCC file has been imported.
- Signup assigns the paid plan, which can save a private equipment catalog on the server. A plan set to free cannot. Only an admin account can change the shared catalog.
- Projects still stored in the browser can be imported after sign-in. The Account menu and the File menu both run that import, and a prompt offers it when the browser already has projects.
