What to include in a support or path design inquiry
- Path design & ITU-R calculation questions: Specify the frequency band (GHz), path length, polarization, and calculation module (ITU-R P.530-17 multipath, ITU-R P.526-15 diffraction, ITU-R P.676 gaseous absorption, Crane or ITU-R P.838 rain attenuation, or specular reflection analysis) so figures can be compared directly against reference benchmarks.
- Pathloss 5 (
.pl5) & radio data (.rsd) files: When reporting an import or export discrepancy on a .pl5 hop file or .rsd radio specification, note the Pathloss 5 build version and which section (site coordinates, elevation profile, terrain roughness, ACM threshold table, or antenna heights) differed.
- Equipment catalog additions: To request a new microwave radio family or parabolic antenna model in the shared catalog, list the manufacturer, model designation, operating frequency range, channel bandwidths, modulation profiles, transmit power, and 3 dB beamwidth or gain.
- Account & cloud project storage: For account verification, password reset, or server-saved project recovery questions, include the email address registered on the Spanline account.
